It is imperative for schools to have the latest and high quality science lab supplies these days. Science is different from any other subject. In order to understand its concepts, one has to look beyond the books and conventional classroom teaching. Effective teaching and learning of science involves seeing, handling, and manipulating real objects and materials. The knowledge that kids attain in classrooms would be ineffectual unless they actually observe the process and understand the relationship between action and reaction. Effective teaching and learning of science involves a perpetual state of show and tell. Good schools combine classroom teaching with laboratory experiments to ensure that their students grasp each and every concept thoroughly. It is also believed that laboratory teaching and experiments that are being conducted there help encourage deep understanding in children. Children are able to retain the knowledge for longer when they see the experiments being performed in front of their eyes.

Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. It is also found that school science lab equipment and supplies make teaching and learning easy both for the teachers, as well as for the students. There are several scientific theories and concepts that are difficult to explain directly from the books. Anatomy models, physics science kits, and chemistry science kits for instance make it easy to understand the otherwise complex theories of science.

To conclude, schools must have the latest science lab supplies and equipment to make science interesting and effective for students and to encourage them to make significant contributions in the field of physics, biology, chemistry, and other streams of science later in life.

To fulfill this concept we are having well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Geography Laboratory in our school.

  

Physics Laboratory:

It is in the laboratory that physics students learn to practice the activities of scientists asking questions, performing procedures, collecting data, analyzing data, answering questions and thinking of new questions to explore by doing experiments with the laboratory instruments under the direction of respective teachers by using lab manuals.
  

Chemistry Laboratory:

School's chemistry laboratory is well equipped with various chemical reagents and laboratory apparatus along with a good assistance of an experienced lab attended in order to realize the concepts associated to the subject proving the 'constructivism' that 'learning by doing.'
  

Biology Laboratory:

The biology laboratory is equipped with many facilities and features to aid in providing the required services to the secondary and higher secondary students which includes various preserved specimens, permanent slides, equipments and reagents for preparing temporary slides, model of human skeleton and the various organ systems along with microscopic studies with simple, compound and electron microscope which indeed concretize the learning experiences of the students.
  

Mathematics laboratory:

Further we are proud to announce hereby that we have a well-facilitated mathematics laboratory for children of primary, secondary and senior secondary with separate sections for the concretization of their abstract mathematical facts by solving various puzzles, rubkees, working with abacus, etc.
  

Geography laboratory:

We provide quality geographical laboratory with different charts, models, specimen samples of different rocks and soils. Maps of world, continents, countries, India, Indian states and the globes indeed aid for pioneer learning in related subject.

Computer Lab

Daily computer use is essential as it helps young learners understand various software tools. Computer programming class can help develop critical thinking skills as students learn how to place tasks into a logical sequence and technical skills are developed through students' using various software tools. Mixing technology in the classroom supports learning and builds students’ confidence. When students are taught through slide shows or by showing films, the lessons are stimulating; when they access new information online, they feel motivated; and when they learn new software tools, they are empowered. Incorporating technology in the curriculum gives students a sense of purpose and their attitude toward their education becomes positive. Technology is of the greatest value to teachers when it is available in the classroom. A computer room allows learners to become comfortable in the use of computer equipment. Teachers are encouraged to bring technology into their classrooms. Computer rooms have a different purpose. Both are needed to develop twenty-first century skills.

So in order to incorporate this we are having a well- facilitated computer laboratory with 30 computers of latest configuration with full time Internet service. So that every student gets individual opportunity to access the system and being nourished by the advanced technologies.
